By using this number you can ask for help when life or property is endangered and you will be put in contact with the nearest relevant emergency service provider, such as the ambulance, fire, police or traffic service.
Calls from a cellular (wireless/mobile) phone can be made directly to the 107 centre on 021 480 7700 at national rates. Dialing the number 107 from a cell phone will not work.

Transport If you do not have your own transport, buses and taxis are available to transport you from the City to the Cableway Bus The Camps Bay bus will drop you off at Kloof Nek. They depart from Adderley Street outside the Golden Acre in Cape Town's city centre. It is a 1.5 km walk uphill from Kloof Nek to the Lower Cable Station. Bus timetable

Timing If the weather permits, you can stay on the mountain till the last car goes down.So you can go for a walk or have a meal on the top, and enjoy a longer stay on the mountain. Queues The cable cars travel every 5-10 minutes and can carry up to 65 passengers at one time. It is unusual for there to be queues aside from school holiday season when there may be queues of up to 45 minutes in the mornings. Parking
Free parking is available along Tafelberg Road leading to the lower cable station.Space has been allocated for visitors who wish to be picked up and dropped off outside the front entrance.We have allocated dedicated parking bays for tour buses and taxis. Weather We cannot predict what the weather will do at the top of Table Mountain, please always check for a weather update before departing home.Call the weather line on (021) 424 8181.
Always bring a warm jacket with you, as the temperature is often cooler on the summit than at the lower station.
New Opening Hours
Due to operational requirements the Cableway will open from 8am in the summer months (October to April). Tour operators will now have an extra half hour to fit the Cableway into their schedule. This new opening time will be valid from Friday 16th March 2007. The winter opening times will stay the same: 1 May - 15th September 08h30 to 18h00.
Bookings
As the cableway is weather dependent we do not take bookings. Purchase of tickets can be made, on the day of your visit, at our lower station ticket office (back to top)
Disabled
The Cableway is freely accessible to people with disabilities.
There are dedicated parking bays near the lift entrance at the lower cable station.
Guide dogs are more than welcome aboard and most seem to enjoy the ride!
Once on top, there are over 2km's of pathways that can be explored by a person in wheelchair, and our restaurant is easily accessible.
Wheelchair maps are available at the ticket office.
All but two of our viewpoints can be accessed by a person in a wheelchair.
